Using Excess/Surplus Property Form
The form is available through
UCD Buy, catalog # 71461-230 in either the Storehouse or Supply Express catalog. A separate form should be completed for each item to be sold through the Bargain Barn.

Before completing the Bargain Barn Excess/Surplus Property Form, you should have received e-mail confirmation that the Bargain Barn has a market for the item (see How To Sell for more information). |

Fill in the departmental information, including the account that should be credited with a sale.

Complete the item information, including UC property number (if any), full description, location of the item, acquisition value and dimensions. |

List the present condition of the item and indicate delivery instructions. |

A department contact is needed for any additional information or clarification on items being sold. |

The asking price must be stated and remains firm for 28 days. For bid items the asking price serves as the minimum bid required. |

Obtain the required signatures, as indicated by the form and the type of item being surrendered. |

The original form(s) should be sent to the Bargain Barn along with the applicable item(s). Keep a copy of the form for departmental tracking purposes, and review the form for instructions on where additional copies of the form should go.
