  • Salvage Operations picks up the items scheduled for disposal at a labor cost of $14.00 per quarter hour (per each staff member assigned to the job). For example, if two staff are needed for a pick-up, the cost would be $28.00 per quarter hour. See the Disposal Tips for ways to keep your disposal costs down.

  • There is a $4.00 per item disposal fee for covered electronic devices (CEDs). These devices include:
    • computers (desktop and laptop)
    • monitors
    • printers
    • scanners
    • fax machines
    • copiers
    • LCD projectors
    • telephones/cell phones
    • peripheral drives
    • personal data assistants (PDAs)
    • digital oscilloscopes,
    • voltmeters/ammeters

    The $4.00 fee covers the additional handling and labor costs involved in recycling these items. Small items such as PDAs and keyboards are combined into (roughly) 15 pound increments for the $4 CED charge.
